Florida Organization on Religion, Environmental Science and Technology
In 2005 the Florida Organization on Religion, Environmental Science and Technology (or FOREST) was established through a grant from the Metanexus Institute.
After holding a number of events between 2005 and 2007, Taylor and his collaborators received a Metanexus Global Network Initiative Continuation Program Grant Award for a 5 year collaborative research project entitled "Religion, Science, and the Future." More information about this grant, which will begin in 2010, will be available at the FOREST website.
In addition to the Metanexus Institute, Taylor and his collaborators are grateful to the following University of Florida entities for their generous contributions to these initiatives: the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Division of Sponsored Research, the Departments of Religion and Anthropology, and the Center for Spirituality and Health.
